Well, after several weeks of ignoring this place of mine, I thought it best to update and put the events of late behind. Sorry I left those posts to linger, I just needed to sit on my feelings for a bit. But it's time to move forward. I have been lucky to have been around so many good friends lately and that has helped.

April was kinda busy at work and with gig season, but May has been absolutely ridiculous thus far!!!! Project deadlines and all sorts of extra quintet gigs have made me a busy, busy guy!!! I'm looking forward to a short break in June though as I'm in the process of planning a trip to NYC to get a few lessons and see some friends. Somehow my 'vacations' always end up being me traveling somewhere to play tuba! I mean, I'm not complaining!

The Cinco party last night was a big hit. We were able to get a nice little fire going out back. There were many rounds of margaritas and everyone seemed to have a really good time......a much needed release for a lot of people.

So it's back to the grind tomorrow for me.....and good night as well!!!
